Martin should have won, and Harvick should have more respect than being a selfish prick and should have bump drafted Martin to his first 500 win in 26 tries. Harvick has more time to win one, and Martin is retiring, stop being a little bitch Harvick. Go back to Busch series or something and stay there.
Its the DAYTONA 500!!!!
Its the DAYTONA 500!!!! what driver is his right mind would give up a chance to win the biggest race of the year. It was a fair race, Martin didn’t get robbed or anything,he lost plain and simple. he gave it a hell of a try and just came up short. Thats how racing goes, Martin knows that. Harvick knows it too. Not everyone gets to win at Daytona. It was just good racing, you all need to stop bitching about Martin losing the race and blaming Nascar for Martin losing
harvick did nothing wrong, the caution didn’t come out. so he
raced to the checked flag. i’m sure mark martin would of
did the same thing. for all those whinning babies, calm down and
take another drink from your milk bottle and whin about some
thing else.
Yeah, Oscar, everyone should have just let Mark win. That’s what he’s been looking for for the last 23 years - for someone to gift him a Daytona 500….
The more I see the more I’m convinced NASCAR is the racing version of the WWE - not necessarily because they want it, but because you fans want it.
DOESNT MATTER WHEN BUSH STARTED TO SPIN KEVIN WAS AHEAD OF MARK. SO IF THEY THREW IT AT THE POINT OF THE SPIN NOTHING WOULD HAVE CHANGED. IAM NOT A 29 FAN OR A MARTAN FAN. I LOVE RACING BUT I DONT LIKE WHAT NASCAR DOESE WITH THE RULES EITHER.THEY SHOULD OF PUT THE YALLOW OUT AT THE TIME OF THE SPIN. IT WOULD NOT CHANGE THE OUT COME BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFER FOR THE 29 DRIVERS ON THE TRACK

nascar makes the rules. they should be the same for all tracks..
Martin got the shaft!!!
If you have the SPEED channel you would have seen last night during the Wind Tunnel report with David Dispain that Harvick was ahead of Mark when the wreck started to happen, then if NASCAR had decided to throw the flag Harvick would have won, but if they had waited to wait until a few seconds after the wreck started YUS Marin would be the winner, but instead the track was clean in front of the Lead cars and they did race back to the line, then NASCAR throw the Yellow. They did it correctly I thought given both drivers a change to win, just that Martin fell short, but I was Mark I would have ran into Harvick to at least win.
If one of the cars behind the wreck that raced 180 mph in between spinning and upside down cars cars would have hit Clint Boyer upside down and seriously hurt him , would everyone then agree a caution should have been thrown?
It doesnt matter if he was ahead when the caution came out it is determined by scoring loops so if the caution would have been thrown according to the rules martin would have won
well, would it have made any difference? some one has to be a winner and a looser, but in a way I wanted dale Jr to win ,but seeing he didnt,I wanted martin to win,but as who was or was not the blame,I feel Martin and Harvick has no bad feeling towards each other ,so I say just let it go, it is done and over with
I say congradulation to harvick and best of luck martin in the next reace, but I still would like dale Jr to win.
but now i am wondering now if dale will go out on his own or stay with the family.
I also believe Dale Jr has every right to have A say in the family affairs ,after al his dad Started it and his mom is just his step mom,
I am wondering what Dale Sr would think about this,
thank you
Keep Well & safe
God Bless
LET IT GO AND LIVE WITH IT, I THINK HARVICK HAD IT WON ANYWAY. I AM AN ANYBODYBUTEARNHARDT FAN SO ENJOYED THE OUTCOME.
mark wouldn’t have wanted anyone to hold back to let him win. what it is si what it is
no matter who would of won the race the caution should of came out. the #38 car almost started another big racing back to the line!
.002 of a second thats so close, sorry martin wished you would have won but you
but your just to much of a gentleman
you should have banged harvics doors off
the whole race looked like the arca race

This comment is just un-called-for! Mark is a great driver and he deserves to be respected! Grow up and get some manners!
The race happened the way it happened. These guys want to win but they also want to race. Yes, Nascar should treat every situation the same but last week was just so exciting! I think they should do that every time this situation appears.
Harvick did nothing wrong
Martin did nothing wrong
NASCAR did………..the caution should have come out and let the chips fall ………….whoever the winner is
