Mark Webber is due at Red Bull’s UK factory this week, according to the Milton-Keynes based team.
Having secured an early release from his Williams contract, and after completing a trip to his native Australia, Webber will have a seat fitted for the 2006 RB2 and then make his debut at Barcelona late next week, a team document read.
According to reports, the man he replaces at Red Bull - Christian Klien - also had a new seat fitted this week. The Austrian was due at Honda’s Brackley factory and will similarly debut at Spain’s Circuit de Catalunya.
