Jean Todt has received a lucrative offer to stick around as Ferrari’s F1 chief beyond the end of 2006, according to press reports.
Auto Motor Und Sport in Germany claims that the offer of a one-year contract extension, courtesy of Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo, is so attractive that it would be ‘difficult to refuse’. Todt’s decision to stay, meanwhile, would almost certainly accompany the renewal of Michael Schumacher’s similarly-expiring red-coloured contract.
