Spa Francorchamps looks certain to return to the Formula One calendar next year, according to local reports.

It is understood that an official announcement is due in the coming days, after the Walloon government confirmed at the weekend that the circuit would be renovated in time for 2007.

De Standaard publication writes that 60 million euro will be spent on the new Grand Prix project, with the money to cover three races (until 2009) and a new pit and paddock complex.
