A couple of notable names appeared at this week’s official GP2 test at the Paul Ricard venue in France.
Having recently targeted reaching the Formula One grid by 2009, Bruno Senna - the nephew of F1’s late famous triple world champion - circulated for Arden International.
The Arden team is owned by Red Bull’s F1 Team Principal Christian Horner, therefore strengthening the existing link between 22-year-old Senna and Ayrton’s former McLaren team-mate Gerhard Berger who co-owns the sister Red Bull team, Toro Rosso.
Also lapping at Paul Ricard - for Giancarlo Fisichella’s ‘FMS’ GP2 squad - was Antonio Pizzonia, who contested 19 Grand Prix in 2003-2005 and has made several Champ Car starts with year with Rocketsports.
