Ross Brawn could re-emerge at a different Formula One team before long, reports in Italy speculated on Friday.
With his Ferrari departure now confirmed, Friday’s edition of sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport rejected talk of a ’sabbatical’ or retirement, claiming that contact may already have been made between the 51-year-old and English based teams like McLaren and Williams.
Ferrari boss Jean Todt said of the departure of Brawn and engine chief Paolo Martinelli: “I wish them all the best in achieving the objectives they have set themselves in their new lives.”
