(GMM) Local forecasts are predicting rain throughout the 2006 Italian GP weekend at Monza.
An earlier weather outlook had anticipated certain showers for race day, but Sunday is in fact now expected to hold the highest probability for sun, according to Italian broadcaster RAI.
Michelin’s F1 director Nick Shorrock, however, told Speed TV: ”When I last looked at the forecast for Sunday, it was appalling, with showers all the way.”
Meanwhile, showers will surely fall on Saturday, and Friday is most likely to be wet, with a seventy five per cent chance of thunder storms.
