(GMM) Christian Klien has missed out on a ‘Friday’ seat for Spyker-MF1, as the Dutch owned team confirmed three other drivers for the remaining three races of 2006.
A statement on Tuesday said GP2 drivers Alexandre Premat (Chinese GP) and Ernesto Viso (Brazilian GP), as well as Adrian Sutil (Japanese GP), would fulfil the third driver role in the balance of the season.
Red Bull refugee Klien is not even appearing for the Spyker team at the Silverstone test this week, as rookies Adrian Valles and Ronnie Quintarelli get their first taste of F1 power.
The statement said: ”At this crucial stage in the season the team have chosen to assess the talents of a number of emerging drivers as part of their development programme.”
