That makes it sound dirty… or like the officials are like Cops where you can’t even tap them on the shoulder to get their attention without fearing being shot or arrested for assault on an officer. l0l
Serves them right, as far as I’m concerned. I totally understand them being upset at what happened, but it’s not between the crews, it’s between the drivers. You can have your driver’s back all you want, but when you go en masse to another crew’s pit stall the end result is never going to be good.
If you go after an official in any sport, you’re going to be watching from home for a while, so it doesn’t surprise me that they sat this guy. He ought to be glad he only got a one race suspension the way NASCAR works sometimes!
But it IS between the crews.
Well more so its between the crews and hamlin. Hamlin tore up a car that the crew works hard to get in race condition. If someone did that to one of my cars I would be pissed off as well.
I can understand for the “inappropriate action on an official”, however october? Its not like anyone got hurt, that seems excessive.
What happened to letting these guys be their selves and letting their personality show. I guess that only works if your Carl Edwards or Denny Hamlin.

Yeah but Keslowski didn’t seem to care much about either crew when he jammed his nose under the tail of Hamlin hard enough to pick his tires up off the ground, which was the breaking point that caused Hamlin to retaliate.
What I don’t get is why there were no penalties against Hamlin for his remarks in the post race interview. He clearly said that he retaliated against Keselowski, which implies that it was pre-meditated and not just a racing moment.

Yeah, you’re right. I forgot all about him saying that, but now that you mention it, he sure did say on no uncertain terms that he was retaliating. He should have gotten some kind of penalty, but he seems to have gotten off scott free! Surprised I haven’t heard more from the conspiracy theorists about that one…

Until nascar does something to stop him Denny will just keep doing whatever he wants to whomever he wants.
I just went back and saw what Denny did, and I have to say that Brad should have turned left into him. This past Saturday after our heat race somebody (my cousin of all people) tried to do what Denny was trying to do, to our modified driver, but our driver saw it and turned left into his q/p and spun him out.
If only Brad would have done that instead of letting Denny run him up towards the wall…..
Only have one thing to say, so much for back to basics mode that nascar was on.

I guarantee that Brad wont let him get away with it again and i’ll bet Junior jumped his case for not doing it.
I personally found the whole thing amusing….. and the penalties really weren’t that harsh.
I think Brad made Denny look like a fool more then anything.
LOL It amazes me on how fast Cup drivers can dish out the “hard racing” quote to make their driving appear clean, but if a Nationwide driver does the exact same thing back, they can’t take it.
Hate to burst Denny’s bubble, but Brad’s driving skills are better then some of the Sprint drivers this year. He doesn’t need to bow down to anyone!!
Oh yes, and retaliation?……. That was almost a mature comment………..
I’m really starting to question who should be driving in the Cup Series now. Because it looks like Brad could handle it. (Hmmm…..)
