Jenson Button to sit out more testing with rib injury

Jenson Button will sit out this week’s second test of the winter at Jerez to recuperate from a rib injury he sustained in a recent karting accident.
A Honda spokeswoman explained that Button’s two cracked ribs are “healing well” but the team wants to avoid any risk of aggravating his condition.
It has not yet been decided whether Button will return to the cockpit for the final test before Christmas, at Jerez next week.
