Renault’s new title sponsor will also have a trackside presence at up to twelve Grand Prix in 2007.
A spokesman for ING last month admitted that the Dutch bank has signed an agreement with F1’s trackside advertising agent Allsport Management for circuit sponsoring ‘at several Formula One races in key ING markets’.
The Dutch magazine Formule 1 Race Report now adds that ING’s deal involves sponsorship at twelve GPs next year, including naming rights in Australia. A spokesman for the Amsterdam based company, however, denied reports that it will also be title sponsor at Spa in Belgium.
Nevertheless, ING hoardings will feature trackside at Spa-Francorchamps, as well at the races in Malaysia, Spain, Canada, France, Britain, Germany, Hungary, Italy, China and Japan.
