Thank God he’s alright. He has cheated death yet again. I cant wait to see him going strong next year,It’s also sad that the Eric Medlin body got destroyed , but its great to see John is ok. Lets hope Ashley can win him a race before the year is over.

after i saw the tape i cant beleave he is alive! that had to of the wost thing for his wife and kids to see! i know we will see him back in the car next year!

When he was gettin loaded in the chopper, he was askin Robert if he won, and tellin him
he wanted his interview. I remmeber a few years ago, when he had his wreck at Memphis, he
was jokein about he saw Elvis at 1,000 ft. Granted, it was a bad wreck, but he as had worse
wrecks, and it never kept him out of the car. He may not be back the season, but he will be
back next year, and will run for the Chapionship again. My thoughts and prayers are with him
for a fast and full recovery.

Praying for you Force! You can get thru this one. I am concerned if he will be back though…the last couple years have been awfully hard on the Force family and I just don’t know if they have the strength to put him back in a car again after such a close call. But we will wait and see. Good luck!

A replay of the crash can be found on the NHRA site.

Also, is being treated at Baylor in Dallas, not Parkland. He went into surgery at around 9. His right knee, left ankle, and left wrist are being operated on. He also has several broken fingers. This is really sad for the NHRA world. Force is their version of Dale Sr.
