First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working at the Paul Ricard-HTTT Le Castellet circuit, in the South of France.

Felipe Massa and Marc Gene were in action today, both at the wheel of a 248 F1. The work schedule, which took place on the 2A-b-SC version of the track, revolved mainly around Bridgestone tyre development for the next three races, which take place in Germany, Hungary and Turkey.

In addition, the two drivers also worked on development of mechanical and electrical solutions. The summary of the day in numbers is: 92 laps for Felipe (best time 59”627) and 180 for Marc (1’00”080.).

Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, with Felipe Massa and Michael Schumacher on track.
