de la Rosa Expects Ferrari to Dominate at Monza
Quote selected text Published September 2nd, 2006 in MainSpanish driver, Pedro de la Rosa, says he expects another dominate performance from Ferrari in Monza next weekend.
The Ferrari car has had an obvious advantage recently and de la Rosa says he expects that to only improve in Italy.
Next Sunday’s Grand Prix is clearly critical to the Championship title race with Michael Schumacher just 12 points behind Fernando Alonso and only three races to go after Italy, neither driver can afford to slip up.
Worryingly for Alonso and his Renault team though is that in last weeks testing session Felipe Massa and his Ferrari were comfortably quicker than the current World Champions.
“I still believe Ferrari have a few tenths in store,” de la Rosa he told Marca.
