Now fans can bring those sights and sounds with them anywhere they go as Champ Car’s website www.champcar.ws is now offering ring tones and wallpapers for mobile phones.

The ring tones and wallpapers allow fans to personalize their cell phones with the latest race highlights as wallpaper or the scream of the 750 hp turbocharged Ford Cosworth as their ring tone. Both the wallpapers and ring tones can be purchased direct from Champ Car’s website and downloaded to the cell phone or they can be purchased through select wireless carriers.

“It is great that Champ Car fans can bring some of the excitement of our three-day festivals of speed with them anywhere they go,” said Champ Car President Steve Johnson. “Our fans are the best in motorsports and are very tech-savvy. I know they are going to love hearing a Cosworth engine every time their cell phone rings and being able to show all of their friends their favorite drivers and exciting Champ Car action that they have on their phone.”
