UPDATE:

Rain has washed out all Nextel Cup activity for Saturday. Rain is not supposed to be an issue for Sunday so the race should go off as scheduled.

Nextel Cup practice was delayed Saturday morning because of rain at New Hampshire International Speedway.

Two practices for the Sylvania 300 were scheduled for today, one from 9-9:50 a.m. EDT and a final practice from 11:30-12:30 p.m.

There is an 80% chance of rain today according to the forecast with clearing later in the day.
