Kurt BuschAdd Robert Yates Racing to the list of teams interested in signing Kyle Busch to drive next season. “I’ve sent word through his agent [that I would like to talk to him],” RYR co-owner Robert Yates said on Thursday during a Ford function. “I’m very interested.” Said Yates’ son, Doug, “He would look good in a Ford.”

RYR not only wants Kyle, but his brother Kurt. But Kurt Busch has three years remaining on his deal with Penske Racing, and according to his agent has no plans to leave.

“That’s flattering,” said Kurt’s agent, John Caponigro. “He’s locked in at Penske. He’s doing fine. He’s looking forward to making the Chase this year and having lot of success at Penske Racing.”

Kyle became available on Wednesday when it was announced that Dale Earnhardt Jr. was signed to replace him at Hendrick Motorsports next season and that the 22-year-old Busch has been given his release from the final year of his deal in 2008. Bruce Kempton, who represents Kyle, said he’s heard from just about every organization in the Nextel Cup garage. He said there had been no contact with RYR, but that his client was willing to listen to anyone. Among the teams other than RYR that have expressed an interest in Kyle are the Chevrolet teams of Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Ginn Racing. While Busch has driven Chevrolets since he left Ford’s Roush Racing after the 2001 Truck Series season, he is not married to the manufacturer.

I still think Kyle in the Bud vs. Kurt in Miller would be pretty fun to see

Kurt and Kyle together? That almost seems like something out of pro wrestling. They could be their own NWO or Wolfpac. I can see them telling the fans to “suck it.” Then they could run a third car at certain tracks for Dennis Rodman. Actually that would be pretty funny. They might even get some fans that way.

THey have talent if u could get KYLE to make better decisions. I think it is those girly sunglasses.
Teams will be scrambling to put combinations together to fight the seemingly endless dominace of the new world order of HENDRICK Power .

Kyle is such an amazing driver, and has continuously done better than Jr. in the cup standings that replacing him is absurd, especially with someone like Dale Jr. I think that Hendrick is making a huge mistake by getting rid of Kyle and will regret it when he realizes Jr. is only popular with the fans because of his father, not his “so called” racing abilities.

And Kyle is only famous because of Kurt. Race fans like Jr., get over it. theres people who love Dale Sr and HATE Jr.

Hey anonymous check the stats, in the last 2 years Kyle has won twice as many race’s as Jr. Car or diver, we shall see. Jr stay away from the 25!!!

i think thats just what ryr would need even if thay could just get kyle and keep gilliad then add a third car ford and ryr dominating again peace and love

hmmm, i was thinking that maybe Kyle could go back to trucks then he couldn’t consistently take out other cars. Also, Junior is a far more stable choice and will do fine.
