Windstream to host National Guard and Army Reservists at Charlotte

Windstream Corporation (NYSE: WIN) today announced that it will host 1,000 North Carolina National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve soldiers and their families at the upcoming Pole Night qualifier for the Bank of America 500. Pole night is Thursday, Oct. 11 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Windstream recently acquired CT Communications (CTC) in Concord, N.C. and is continuing CTC’s community involvement in the area by providing Pole Night tickets to members of the military. Windstream is the official telecommunications provider for Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Joe Marano, Windstream vice president and general manager for the Carolinas, said Windstream is honored to support the troops and their families in the local area.
“The soldiers and families of the North Carolina National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve have made enormous personal sacrifices for our country, and it is our privilege to thank them for their service to our country,” Marano said.
