A Visa spokesperson today refuted reports that the payment card company was close to a deal to become Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s new primary sponsor.
“We haven’t even had conversations,” said Visa spokesperson J.J. Carter.
- Sources tell Jeff Hammond Dale Earnhardt, Jr to sign with Gibbs, sponsor to be Visa
- Visa to sponsor Las Vegas Champ Car race
- Toyota flatly denies talks with DEI
- Nextel Cup race at Dover renamed
- Budweiser looks likely to follow Dale Earnhardt, Jr

We all need to wait and see what happens with jr. He should make his decesion soon.
GOOD! Because I dont want to wear VISA gear! Credit cards are the devil!
I think dropping Budweiser for Visa is a bit of a step down, honestly.
If you got a sponsor to take with you, take ‘em, don’t replace ‘em!
Anyone ever think that Jr. would take over the Interstate Batteries car considering Yeley is already one foot out the door at Gibbs?
Hammond should be fired..
If he goes to Joe Gibbs it will be better for him more of a chance of winning
Nobody knows this stuff it is all gossip or educated guessing at best.
If bud has obligations with D E I then Thats that . He needs to what is best for JR . As far as I know He owns none of D E I the number 8 and possibly no bud sponser . He needs to just see it threw. If he has the drive surrounds himself with good team members that are motivated he will win.
I always thought Juan Pedro needed a Visa.
