Virginia Tech’s Frank Beamer named Grand Marshall for spring Martinsville race

Martinsville Speedway officials say Frank beamer, head football coach at Virginia Tech, will serve as grand marshal for the track’s March 30 Goody’s Cool Orange 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race.
“I’m very honored to be the grand marshal of the Goody’s Cool Orange 500 Sprint Cup race at Martinsville Speedway,” Beamer said in a news release. “I think most people know how much I love racing, and I’m delighted by the honor.”
