Gateway International Speedway officials say former Formula One champion Jacques Villeneuve is scheduled to test at the track Oct. 16.
Villeneuve is making the move to NASCAR and will attempt his Nextel Cup debut this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. He is also racing in the remaining Craftsman Truck Series races this year.
Villeneuve and Bill Davis Racing teammate Dave Blaney will test at Gateway, the track said.
