Vickers not allowed in Hendrick team meetings

Brian Vickers, who is leaving Hendrick Motorsports at the end of the season to drive for Toyota’s Team Red Bull, no longer takes part in the customary Hendrick race weekend team meetings. Only crew chief Lance McGrew is allowed to attend the at-the-track meetings where strategy and race setups are discussed among crew chiefs and drivers.“We all know there are few secrets in this sport and it’s important to keep as many as possible,” Vickers’ teammate Jimmie Johnson said.
Missing the meeting apparently was no problem for Vickers on Friday, as he qualified in the second row, alongside Johnson, for Sunday’s race.

i know he is leavin but to exclude him from what they call a “TEAM” meeting that doesnt sound like much of a team to me dont ya think
I dont really care for Vickers but have to agree with Nicole on this one. He is still part of Hendricks. Therefore he should be involved with the meetings, intill he leaves next year.(Still wishing he would take bush with him…one can only dream)
Now… is it just me, or does it seem like Gordon might have had something to do with this? Whether I like him or not [[which I don't, but I mean honestly, whether I like him or not]], isn’t it completely ludicrous that he expects Vickers to move over for a POSITION at the front of the field, just so he can get points? He’s been upset with Vickers every since and [[unfortunately]] he has high standing at Hendrick Motorsports. And it’s ridiculous not to let someone who’s part of the TEAM into the TEAM meetings, so I agree with the two people before me.
I completely agree with all of you, especially Breanna. I instantly thought Jeff was behind this… seems a little too coincidental that Jeff talks crap about Brian and then boom - he’s no longer allowed at team meetings.

This is the strangest thing i have ever heard. I like Vickers and I hope he gets a win soon.
