Stewart’s mane looks more like it did when he was a rookie in 1999.

What made you decide to finally cut your hair? “To be honest, I just woke up one morning and told one of my roommates, ‘Today’s the day. I’m going to get it cut.’ There was no rhyme or reason for it. I just woke up that morning and decided to get my hair cut, and that was that. I kind of laughed about it myself because there wasn’t anything that happened that made me do it. I just went ahead and did it. People who know me say I look 10 years younger now.”
How is the aftermath of having your back waxed? “It’s already growing back. It’s like a Chia Pet.”
Is it a testament to NASCAR’s popularity that the length of your hair and your hair follicles in general have become a topic of discussion? “Yeah, it’s kind of unbelievable, and it does say that the sport is popular because I never thought the length of my hair would ever gain so much attention.”

Tony has pretty much always had roommates. He talks about them on his weekly radio show.
They look after his properties while he is on the road so much. But, I agree that at his
age, it would be a turn-off for most girls to go home with a guy who had roommates.
Glad he cut his hair, but now he actually needs to remember to comb it once in a while.

I think I will NEVER understand the people, who want other individuals all look stereotype with all the same dream-of-all-mother-in-law-look. Everyone should look like he wants - and if one wants to have a long mane - one should go for it, even if conservative hysterical people don’t like it. I’m happy he had a mane and he didn’t give a tinkers damn about what “the others” say.
It’s utterly devastating, if you put 20 men in a line and the only visual thing to distinguish between them is the color of their suit and/or their number on it - because they look all the same… isn’t that DEAD BORING?
