Lowe’s Motor Speedway President & General Manager H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler will put his skills as NASCAR’s ultimate promoter, storyteller and diplomat on display for SPEED viewers beginning with a one-hour pilot Feb. 12 at 9:00pm/et, when The Humpy Show debuts with guests Buddy Baker and Kurt Busch discussing great NASCAR rivalries.
Calling the shots behind the camera will be Wheeler’s daughter, Patti, whose team from Wheeler TV delivered the idea to SPEED. During his 33 years at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, Wheeler has increased the track’s seating capacity from 75,000 to 160,000 and made it one of the most modern facilities in sports entertainment.

Let’s all hope things get back to RACING where it all
began and where it should be! I know that I don’t want to here the fat lady sing.
Just what we need. NOT. Don’t these guys ever get tired of pulling stupid stunts?
Hey– Humpy is an entertainer. It will be
interesting to see what he comes up with to
entertain us. I believe he will entertain us!!
WHO CARES……
I loved the pilot and I’m looking forward to seeing more. I really like to see some of the older drivers sitting down and comparing stories with the drivers of today. I think it will provide a bit of history for some of the newer fans.
