Stremme out for Infineon, Pruett to Drive #40
Quote selected text Published June 1st, 2006 in NASCAR NewsChip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates announced Wednesday that road-racing specialist Scott Pruett will drive the team’s No. 40 Dodge in the Nextel Cup race at Infineon Raceway on June 25.
Pruett, who drives full-time on the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series, will substitute for Cup rookie David Stremme for that weekend.
Stremme, who is 37th in the Nextel Cup standings after 12 races, will be back in the car the following week at Daytona.
