I think this is a TWO way deal here….I’m a Tony fan but to be quite honest…they are both at fault ! They were on each others butts all during the race ! No,Kurt had no business endangering the pit crew like he did ! I think they are both hot heads….its like putting two bees in a jar with the lid closed !

Good point, Kyle. NASCAR always says its about “safety” and “the fans”… We know they don’t care about us fans. If there is no disciplinary action for this situation then that would throw their claims of concern for safety out the window also. Which I wouldn’t mind because then they wouldn’t be able to hide behind safety as the reasons for restrictor plates, the COT and no racing back to the cautions. …”no credibility.”

A crew chief fined $100,000, driver of the car docked 100 points..
for the wrong mounts for the wing on the COT.
I wonder what penalty is for endangering a innocent crew member.

If Kurt’s penalty doesn’t surpass that, then NASCAR will remove
all my doubts that they have no credibility.

Like I said in another post..causing crap out on the track is one thing, but endangering a pit crew member on pit road is just plain stupid. Kurt should be suspended for the rest of the season. What would have happened if Tony’s guy wasn’t looking and Kurt hit him? Like I said.. Kurt needs to be taught a lesson. Props to Tony for staying in his car, not talking to the media right after it happened, and not causing a big mess. He controlled his anger.

Some of you people who have the knee jerk reaction to instantly call anything Tony says bullshit or that he gets what he deserves really need to have your head examined.

Also, Kurt has as big of an anger problem as Tony, if not more. Kurt has ability but he is a total jack ass. His ability is not as great as Tony’s.

Kurt does alot of things that he knows he shouldn’t. If there is anyone in racing you can call “pompous” it is Kurt Busch. He thinks the world owes him something (everything). He displays that trait over and over again. Tony has his own issues but Tony is more of a man on the race track (and probably off) than Busch will ever be.

Nascar needs to park him for a few races just to say, “not in our house Kurt”. I think he needs to sit out 2-4 races for his pit road rage. It’s about the safety of the pit crews.

Hasve you even seem the still photo of the crewman still in the air and over the hood of the #20 with Busach tight alongside Stewart?

If not your ill informed how close Busch got to the crewman, if you have you’re delusional.

Busch’s tansgressions all long and not pretty, both Busch and the #2 need to sit out a week.

Busch banged into him while trying to go by and then endangered
several crewmen with his antics on pit road. So you can call it “his
anger getting the better of him”, but if you can’t control your anger
beyond endangering innocent people’s safety, you shouldn’t be behind
the wheel of a large vehicle. Period.

You are all wrong….Kurt Busch admits when he made a mistake and his anger got the best of him……how many times has tony been to anger management….doesnt he need to go again???…kurt just expected a little give just like tony expects give every time he’s in that situation
