Speed is adding a special edition of its behind-the-scenes documentary series, “NASCAR Confidential,” that will focus on the tire problems during last Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Titled “NASCAR Confidential: What We Learned at Indy,” the one-hour special will premiere Friday at 6 p.m. EDT and re-air Saturday at 11 p.m.
The program will examine, from multiple perspectives, the issues surrounding the excessive tire wear that forced series officials to throw six competition cautions and several drivers to cut tires.

Very cool… Just logged into directv.com and set my DVR to record this. Will be interesting to see what they have to say!
I’ll have to check this out, the one they did about Race Control was pretty cool.
I think the track was to rough or Goodyear might have brought to soft a compound tire for the race They need testting before each race to make sure the tires are good on the tracks. Sometime before the race in the same temperature range and conditions before each race.
