I don’t know if race tracks do season tickets, but if they do I am sure that you would probably be able to order them online just like regular tickets (unless there is a waiting list). If I lived in the North East like it sounds you do, I would not want to buy a season ticket for Vegas, just because I would not be able to get out to the track for all the races they have that the Season ticket would get me into.

I have been a loyal NHIS fan since the track opened. We have attended the July and Sept. races every year. I would hate to lose my Sept. tickets. If they do move a race to Vegas, will I have an opportunity to become a season ticket holder at that location. I would love to schedule a trip to vegas every year to attend the race. If someone has any information on this subject, please post and keep us informed.

Ya I think Vegas is a good track.. I’m sick of seeing tracks like Texas, Atlanta, and Lowes. All look exactly the same.

Vegas sells out…I live in Vegas and pretty much goto all the races that are here, sometimes I’ll miss a weekend at the bullring (the small track here next to the speedway) but thats just due to work, this place is perfect for another date on the schedule, NASCAR must pull a pretty penny out of this city and I haven’t heard one Nascar official that I’ve talked to ever complain about this town, usually they say there needs to be a second Vegas race because they love coming here(who doesn’t though? this place rocks)…even the truck races pulled a huge crowd in september.

Being a Bartender and working in the service industry in this town I know I would definately love to see another race here, the fans usually arrive early in the week to enjoy Vegas and they all tip well and are always fun to serve and talk with and I usually triple my tips when the fans are here and I only work the days leading up to the race, not the race weekend as I’m at the track. One of my coworkers worked the friday, saturday, sunday night/grave shift over the race weekend for me in March(as I was at the track having a blast and tailgating) and she made $5000 over those 3 days. It’s definately a huge boost for the local economy.

I’m thinking Bruton should remove one of Atlanta’s dates since the track has less attendance than New Hampshire.

That would be crappy if they moved the Texas race to September. It sucks bad enough having the first race in March/April because there’s usually an 80% chance of rain happening.

Umm what Marc posted is 100% right and any website that has anything to do with covering NASCAR should not make that kind of mistake. Im sure it was just a simple mistake, but if you are a website that gives info to the public then you cant make mistakes like that.

Seriously–if you don’t like the info you are receiving from this website, DON’T COME! It’s as simple as that. Of course the creators of this website cannot make everyone happy, but most of us that come here ARE happy with the news that we receive–So either deal with the info that’s given or simply STOP COMING TO THE SITE.

I just think its funny that anybody just thinks that the dates can just be moved. NASCAR works on one year contracts with the tracks. SMI could file to have 52 races a year at Vegas, but NASCAR could say, no you only get 1. Just like NASCAR can say “We are going to NHMS two times a year”.

Its not just as simple as buying a track and then you controll that date. Heck IF NASCAR wanted to they could take what was the second NHMS date and give it to Pocono, or Daytona, or Suzaka in Japan.

I was speaking to a track worker at here at Texas and was also told that a race date may swap out to move the TMS November race to September. Even if that race would be run at night it will be way too hot for fans and drivers. I don’t know why they think that would get more people in the seats it seems that it would be less and what are the chances for SNOW in November in New Hampshire ?????? DUMB DUMB DUMB

“AutoRacingSport.com sources tell us that Bruton Smith will move one of the New Hampshire Sprint Cup race dates to a second Las Vegas Motor Speedway date, possibly as early as next year.

Not only do your “sources” obviously suck, but apparently so does your “editorial board.”

Come on, you guys posted the entire Cup sched when it was released. Did yo7u not realize the contracts were signed, sealed and delivered at that point?

Geesh… critical thinking seems to be in short supply around here.
