ELLIOTT SADLER (#19 McDonalds Dodge Charger) HOW DOES THE BACK FEEL TODAY? “The back is a little sore. I’m going to ice it down and take some inflammatory medicine and try and get as best prepared as I can.”
DO YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN DRIVE 500 LAPS TOMORROW? “Right now, I feel like that I can go maybe half-way tomorrow. Right now it’s a 50-50 chance of going the whole way. Dennis (Setzer) is going to stay and hang out with us tomorrow. If I need him, then we’ll go to him. I’m still in a lot of pain right now. You use so much brake here. I’m pushing my back up against the seat a lot. We made seat adjustments today and that helped. Right now it’s 50-50 of going the whole way.”

Too bad.He should just let Setzer start and finish.I am willing to bet that Dennis could outdrive sadler any day of the week and especially coming off that win in the CTS?
Yeah but Sadler only gets the points if he takes the green flag.
So Sadler takes the green, gets out on the first caution 2 laps in, and Setzer goes on to win the race and lead the most laps, Sadler gets the 190 (I think thats what winning/leading most laps adds up to this year) and Sadler would also get the 10 Chase points should he get in.
That is the only reason that he is going to start the race.
Elliott was a soldier and drove the whole race is extreme pain.
Much respect to ESad. They said he couldn’t even bend down to take off the heat shields on his legs at the end, and he was still in a lot of pain. He’s a trooper!
Good for him.I like him but he sucks as a driver.15th will most likely be his best finish the rest of the year.Evernham needs to get rid of him and Kahne and regroup.
