Roush: ‘NASCAR shouldn’t have approved that engine for Chevrolet’

Ford’s Jack Roush said that NASCAR has made a big mistake in approving the new engine: “NASCAR shouldn’t have approved that engine for Chevrolet. “Chevrolet does a great job, and they’re certainly at the head of the pack right now, in terms of doing technical things for their teams. But Chevrolet teams didn’t need a new engine.”
“And this just creates another scenario where the status quo is further disrupted and now Ford and Chrysler are under pressure to come back and do things that would otherwise be unnecessary - to build a new engine to counter what Chevrolet has now.”

lol Roush…always whining. He was complaining 2 years ago when 1/2 the chase field were his drivers!
If ford is down on power maybe they should build a new engine based on the new GM engine.
im waiting for ford to pull out and honda take their place..dont get me wrong i hate tha fact toyotas in there..but ford just sucks in life and on the race track…i keep waiting to hear they went bankrupt..and roush? you want some cheese with that whine?
roush is always crying about something. fords biggest problem is lack of cars. other than roush they are mostly just smaller underfunded teams. chevy has gibbs, dei, hendrick, rcr and several smaller teams. even dodge has penske, evernham, and ganessee.
I agree they keep taking away from the other manufacturers and just keep on giving to Chevrolet! Somebody needs to take a stand out there…That oh so level playing field that NASCAR always talks about is not level at all!
Quit talkin’ trash on FORD…and what company pioneered the automobile? Oh I don’t know maybeFORD! If it weren’t for Henry we wouldn’t be where we are today…
Mercedes pioneered the automobile, Ford just made it popular.
And using that isn’t even viable anyway…anyone who says Ford doesn’t suck is kidding themselves. I had two different Fords blow a transmission in the same week with less than 150k on either, yet my Pontiac with 186k is running fine and my moms Toyota with 190k is as well. Fords are a joke now, and they wonder why nobody buys them…they’re almost as bad as Kia.
i am a big rousch fan and even i think jack is just whinning put some $$$$ in your engine dept and start developing a different powerplant so you can be up there with chevy
as far as ford being a bad vehicle wev all owned good and bad in them all if we think about it

I love it when Roush cries. Waaaa. The Dodges are to fast,. Waaa Waaa Chevy wins to many races. LOL
Maybe if NASCAR bans all other teams and only allows Jock Rash’s cars on the track maybe then he will be happy.
