Joe Gibbs Racing officials announced Monday that Rockwell Automation will not return next year as sponsor of the team’s No. 20 Busch Series team. Rockwell Automation had backed the team since 2003.
A news release did not give a reason for the pullout. The company said it would not return to NASCAR, either.

There seems to be a pattern going on here.
That was completely and utterly random….
Maybe it’s a subtle sign that Gibbs is serious about Toyota?
Guy, that’s the same thing I said… Wonder if it has anything to do with the Toyota rumors?
Otherwise it might just be that it doesn’t make financial sense for someone like Rockwell Automation to run as a primary sponsor… I couldn’t tell you what in the world they make, and I’m guessing people aren’t watching the Busch race going “I need automated stuff from Rockwell” like they are when they see Denny in Cup and then use Fedex to ship stuff, or buy Bud because they like Dale Jr.
Jeff brings up a good point.
They probably aren’t getting the marketing value
they were expecting. Because I too have no idea what it is
they represent.
You may not know what hey represent and did you Google them to find out?
Guess not.
random? Sponsors are leaving, teams are folding, ratings are going down and so is attendance.
Stevie Wonder can see there is trouble in paradise! The party is over!
Craig, I did look them up and I saw it’s nothing I would ever use personally. I can’t imagine there are companies out there that are stupid enough to use Rockwell because they advertise on the hood of a race car. If such a company is out there, I have a hard time believing they’re going to be in business very long!
Sponsors are also taking their issues to courts just to have a toe in the waters of NASCAR. I guess if there were some spies running around….
