Basketball isnt the issue, again the race fans get screwed over by ESPN the whole reason the went with ESPN was to televise on one network

Umm they went with ESPN because ESPN gave them a better price. Also your logic is flawed because the series was never just on ESPN it was on ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, and ESPN Classic and the ESPN family of networks, which is what NASCAR wanted.

Remember ESPN had an agreement with the NBA before NASCAR came to them, so therefore the agreement with the NBA takes priority.

Also I think its funny to see so many people crying about this on here and other forums. Now instead of having 1 shot to watch the race (well 2 if you count the midweek replay) now you have 6 different ways to watch the race.

I like basketball, just not on race days. I guess we are lucky they had the forthought to do this before the game ran over…Cleveland could have done a better job and this would not happen is right Jeff…

Thank God DirecTV has Speed in HD Just a shame Cleveland had to choke and couldn’t close the series out in game 5, or this wouldn’t even be an issue!
