Rain forces Atlanta schedule changes today

NASCAR has released a revised practice schedule for today’s activities at Atlanta Motor Speedway. No competitors have been on the track as of 12:15 p.m. EDT.
The Craftsman Truck Series competitors will practice until 1:40 p.m. EDT, with practice slated to start as soon as the track is dried. The Busch Series teams then have a lone practice from 1:45 to 3:20 p.m. EDT.
The Nextel Cup teams practice from 3:30 to 5 p.m. EDT and qualify at 7:10 p.m. EDT. The truck race is slated to begin at 9 p.m. EDT.
