Quote selected text Published February 22nd, 2008 in NASCAR News
The start of Sprint Cup Series practice at Auto Club Speedway has been delayed because of a wet track.
Rain in the area canceled the first Nationwide Series practice, but the poor weather moved away from the track. Officials were drying the track, and a Cup practice should be able to start soon.
The practice was slated to begin at 3 p.m. EST and continue for 90 minutes. Qualifying for the Auto Club 300 is scheduled to begin at 6:40 p.m. Friday.
