Why are they starting from the pole???? Shouldn’t it be Newman?? I thought that they were to start in the order that they are in the point standings?
first 5 races go off last years points.

For those inside the top 35 of this years points. For those outside of the top 35 of this years points they go off of this years points. Or something like that.
Ugh!! That’s rather lame! Thanks for the info though.
Cool, great to hear Jimmie will start up front!!
A lot of good cars going home early again.
What does last year have to do with this year, What a go NASCAR. YOU have dropped the bucket again and let a former year ruin a NEW YEAR OF RACING…………………………
change the RULES ,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mel They have used last years points for the first 5 races for the last so many years. And really if they would’ve went off of this years points, the same people would be in the race, just they’d be starting in a different position. But starting positions in a 500 mile race really don’t mean much.
most of nascar rules suck
I heard they blamed and fined Robby Gordon for the bad weather. (lol)
Mike Helton and Darby agree because Robby is from California, he had something to do with the bad weather. They believe the rain is retaliation on Robby’s part and he will be disciplined for it.
