Since its inception in 1949 through the 2007 season, Petty Enterprises had been based out of Level Cross, N.C. Intertwined in the movement of man and machine is a renewed commitment to winning that produced such a successful legacy.

“This is an exciting time to be a part of the Petty Enterprises’ family,” said Executive Vice President of Race Operations Robbie Loomis. “NASCAR is going in a new direction with the new car, so we felt this was the right time to make our transition. The fact that the move was finished ahead of schedule shows our determination.”

I think It is sad when location means so much in surviving or not in our sport. I know Richard is sad also but, I also know he wants the best for his family and employes. So do I, his fans and friends. We wish you Petty Enterprises the best success in 2008 and beyound.
