THANK GOODNESS!!! Enough with the constant changes, so glad it's at a stand still but knowing NASCAR they'll change something else up to alter how the guys recieve points, etc. Some changes have exhaulted them where they are today, but so many things I feel NEVER should've been changed. What was wrong with things the way they were to begin with? "Don't Fix What Isn't Broke?" Then why the changes? Call me old fashioned, or biased to the way things were, but when you go changing things too much, you KILL what many of us who were born into this sport or grew up on it, our outlooks. I understand NASCAR is always looking for that next marketing ploy, but what about all us "OLD WAY" race fans. Just gonna keep pushin' till we're ALL out in the cold...Don't get me wrong I love how they've upped the way the driver is safer and all that. But the other constant rule changes and ploy's to bring in the "younger crowd" is getting old. If they were REAL fans, they'd be into this for the sport. Not the sparkle and glitter of it all. So on other terms, what wasn't broke to begin with, didn't need fixing...or am I just too as the "NEWER" In crowd call it, outdated and too hick. I don't know, but as I stand and continue to breath this sport I will forever want things the way the WERE, when stock cars were stock cars and race car drivers..were one of the same!!
