A new episode of Michael Waltrip Racing: A New Era will premiere on ESPN2 Sunday, Jan. 21, at 11 p.m. ET.
In the seventh episode of the documentary series, Michael Waltrip competes in a half-marathon for Kyle Petty’s Victory Junction Gang charity. In addition, the race team’s first superspeedway Toyota is completed and taken to the track for its all- important first test drive.
A previously-aired episode of the show will air Saturday morning, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. ET.
Michael Waltrip Racing: A New Era is an 11-episode series that chronicles Michael Waltrip Racing and Toyota’s new partnership in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.
NASCAR racing returns to ESPN in 2007. ESPN and ESPN on ABC will have comprehensive, multi-platform coverage featuring telecasts of the final 17 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races including the 10-race “Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup” championship on ESPN on ABC. Additionally, ESPN2 will be the home of the NASCAR Busch Series all season, with six select races on ESPN on ABC.
