NASCAR and Nationwide Insurance today unveiled the logo for the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The introduction of the new logo is the latest step for the series’ transition to Nationwide as its title sponsor, after 26 years of sponsorship by Anheuser-Busch’s Busch brand.
The logo was designed by St. Louis, Mo.-based Jump Co., following collaboration between NASCAR and Nationwide.

booo… looks almost jus like nextels logo. this sponsor crap is gay. y dont they build cars an hire drivers so they can decide who enters and who doesnt. nationwide sucks… nextel sucks. i think the only one who got over themselves was sunoco over kevin harvicks car. telling longtime devoted sponsors they have to get out is stupid. welcome to the downfall of nascar. dodge sponsored the local divisions for the longest time even though most guys run chevys. who ever heard a big deal about a chevy winning a national championship in the local ranks? nobody because nobody cared. dodge wanted to support the racers regardless of wat make car they ran. dodge had a cash bonus for a champion who won in a dodge but thats not anything like telling chevy and ford they had to leave because dodge sponsored the whole series sponsors make or break nascar. right now theyre tearing it apart.

How ironic they name the former “National” series to “Nationwide”… a series that holds races in Canada and Mexico… not just Nationwide..

Nascar has gone to the dogs literally! Since winston was forced to leave nascar,, and they were forced, due to the fact of non smokers griping…I have not purchased anything bearing the name Nextel and never intend too. I proudly wear my old t-shirts til they’re thread bare, lol’s…I continue to call Dale E and Jeff Winston Cup champions, cause that’s what they are. I get so tired of all those commentators calling drivers…nextel champions, when they’re not! I don’t think Dale would have liked people calling him a 7 time nextel champion, lol’s…Same goes for Busch series champions,,, I can see it now…next year, they will be calling Carl Edwards a Nationwide series champion, which will also be untrue! Fans should boycott Nascar events and then we’d see some big changes, right? It kills me to see people backing up these crazy rules. Bring back Nascar and get the foolish sh*t out! Here’s some more examples of things I’ve done…when Havoline shafted Ernie #28…I never again bought that oil to go in my car. When Coors decided to get out of racing as they called it after being on the hood of Bill E.’s car for years,,,,I never bought another product By Coors. Some people may say I’m being silly…No, I am standing up for what I beleive in and I beleive others should too!

After reading every ones comments, it’s even funnier to me now that NEXTEL will be SPRINT next year. NASCAR SPRINT CAR SERIES. Sounds like we’re in Tony’s ballpark’s (sprint cars). I think whenever a new sponsor jumps in, then tells another that they have to leave because they are related is totally bogus, Bud vs Coors, Nextel vs Cingular, Nationwide vs Geico, ETC. ETC. ETC. I thought it was all about competition. Let the people decide,who, what, when, where or what they want to buy, sell, see, or use. Are we not all being brainwashed enough? You can’t even say SH*T, its a normal function of the human body.I guess if you don’t like it change the channel……
