The race this weekend was a little on the dull side, but these cookie cutter 1.5 milers usually are. Most importantly it was safe! Once we've got a half a season in the books, I could see tweaking the rules or something, but they need to run more races and collect more data. Let Goodyear get the tires right so that's out of the equation before anything else happens! Like a lot of people are saying, maybe they need to get rid of the bumpstops. They've probably let teams sink too much money into R&D on them to just pull the plug and make them illegal at this point, so I don't know what NASCAR can do.
