NASCAR needs to start putting a limit on the amount of money team owners can spend on their teams. It's no longer about who the best driver is, it's more about who has the most money. I was hoping the COT would even the field ALOT more than it has (or hasn't).
No they don't NASCAR has always been about the who has the most money, the very nature of auto-racing has always been about who has the resources to put behind their car to get it into victory lane.

Also it'd be very hard to even attempt to do what you are suggesting. See in NASCAR each team is its own Company that has no company connection to NASCAR at all. If you look at the NFL and other sports that have salary caps, that is because contrary to popular belief those teams are owned by the league. Yes there is a team owner in those leagues, but all that person does is pay the players/staff and pay the annual license fee. I'm trying to think of a better way to describe that analogy but at the moment I can't.

If Stewart gets the Green light from Gibbs to leave after this season and J.D. is going to try to pursue Juan Pablo Montoya, I will be the most happiest man on the planet (probably will be the only one, LOL)!! If you put Montoya in top notch equipment like gibbs has....watch out!!! Logano is not even close to being ready for cup yet.....let him run for a Nationwide title before even thinking about putting him in cup.....putting him in cup now and has get off to a slow start will wreck his confidince quick and he's too good of a driver to rush him like that!
