Cotton Owens Enterprises burned Thursday morning in a fire the NASCAR legend described as a “big loss.”
The fire destroyed Owens’ collection of old car parts and antiques from Owens’ racing years.
One man said the fire started when a shop at the rear of the property lit a beehive on fire, and that fire got out of hand.

That is really too bad. I’d honestly be more upset over losing the
mementos from my career than I was my shop.
