Possibly because the fans hate the chase? wake-up Nascar before you lose even more!

KK do you remember what it was like BEFORE the chase? Just think back to 2003, “oh, is
Matt Kenseth gonna wreck twice or not?” The ratings were rarely good “back in the day”
late in the year unless the points were somewhat close, and granted I think the only
good thing Brian France has done is give us the chase(granted he F’ed it up with those
stupid changes this year, it should only be 10 drivers) but everything else he’s screwed
up big time. He’s supposed to be placing NASCAR in the spotlight, yet the CHAMP FINALE
is behind 4 NFL and 2 College Football games?! That has a lot to do with the ton of
boring racing that existed this year, and College football quite frankly having the best
    competition this year.

NASCAR having left it’s “roots” cannot expect TV ratings to hold. In the past, as long as I have followed racing ( since the 50″s ) it has been GOD, COUNTRY,and RACING …………in that order…………..didn’t worry about ratings, they just increased because of who we were. Do not look for good ratings or even decent ratings until the subtle changes inserted into NASCAR are reversed.

yep yep yep raitings are down and all the henndrick fans blame the announcers ok thats only a 1/4 of the problem. most popular this year.
