So why can’t they do qualifying on Friday? Nothing is on the track Friday until 2:35PM, they could have gotten qualifying in.

because they think it exciting to have your point leaders 1 and 2 .

Because they’re dumbasses. There’s absolutely no reason that they couldn’t have run qualifying today (aside from their own stupidity). If I had to pack it up and go home because of this, I would be seriously pissed. There’s plenty of time to give everyone a shot a making a qualifying run!

I bet you its probably because if they make and exception now and change the rules people would expect them to do it all the time. They probably dont always have time to do it, bottom line is that this is NASCAR and they make the rules. I fpeople choose to race in NASCARS series they know what may or may not happen.

Also this is a good way for NASCAR to give JR a chance by having him start on the fron row

Oh yeah, I know that’s the rule and you know it when you show up at the track. I had that argument in some other thread a while back. However, when time permits, like it did in this case, there’s no reason they couldn’t try to get qualifying in. If nothing else, the track has to hate the loss in concessions from not having qualifying! Anyhow, NASCAR applies rules some days and ignores them other days. Why be so set in stone on this, of all things?

Good one on Jr… Don’t worry, though, just because they’re starting on the front row doesn’t mean that Tony Jr won’t figure out a way to botch it for him!

I wonder what it would look like if JR “made a pass on shrub and accicenttly bumped him into the wall..You know just good hard racing.

wow another thread bitching about JR…give me a break…its not like nascar made JR 2nd in the pts….im pretty sure he earned that with his consistency…besides…ever stop to think Nascar is just giving Kyle 5 extra bonus pts…its not like he hasnt started up front 7 times because of the rain outs…thats 35 free points….

besides who cares nascar canceled quals……the cars that missed the field, would have probably missed anyways…cry more about it…drivers are in the top 35 for a reason…not because nascar wants them there…so quit complaining about everything and just watch the damn race

Darrell how are they giving him 5 points ? This isn’t ARCA were Qualifying actually means something point wise ;)

Sam, 9 99/100 of a times that Jr does something like that he ends up taking himself out too…. l0l

I wish they could have qualified on Friday, would have been interesting on who was the pole sitters besides the point leaders. JR needs to win big time along with Jimmy, and Jeff G.
