Most Popular Driver Award tops 3,000,000 votes

The NASCAR NMPA Chex Most Popular Driver award recently surpassed the 3 million mark in votes, and voters are still logging in daily. This new tally tops last year’s total of 2.8 million votes cast. Log on to the Chex Most Popular Driver Website at www.mostpopulardriver.com.
The current list of top-ten drivers, in no particular order, includes Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Dale Jarrett, Jimmie Johnson, Elliott Sadler, Tony Stewart and Michael Waltrip.
The NASCAR NMPA Chex Most Popular Driver winner will receive the award on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the annual Myers Brothers Luncheon held in conjunction with the Nextel Cup Series’ end-of -year banquet in New York City. The award has been given annually since 1956. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has four consecutive wins in the voting competition, with his most recent win coming in 2006. He joined drivers Bill Elliott and Richard Petty as the only drivers to win four consecutive awards.

The website allows everybody to continue re-voting EVERY DAY throughout
the year. Add to the equasion that militant “loons” create a dozen
different “yahoo” email address and use each of them to vote “12″ times a
day… and you have a system totally inborn with fraud and outright
misrepresentation.
Then… after a few years of pompous ego created from the useless status…

Driver” status as manipulation to blackmail his owner into forfieting

Yea I agree that the voting system isn’t to swell.. it should read you’re computer ip and if it reads the same ip that person will not be aloud to vote again. I think that’s a good idea.
And for you people who vote for a driver everyday need to find a new hobby.

Topping 3,000,000 votes is a pointless statistic since people are voting everyday.
How about just voting once or voting at the races only?
if all of you are so hard on dale jr, just think of what he must go thur everytime just to get in the car knowing his step-mother had it sat up for him to drive in. i just know she doesnot want him to win so she give he a crapie car every week .one minute he is running with best then something happens a he can just make it to the finish line. dont yall know she doesnot want him to get in another win for his daddys company…..
