Nextel Cup driver and team owner Michael Waltrip has been relieved of his duties as co-host of the Speed Channel show “Tradin’ Paint,” network officials confirmed Friday. Waltrip will remain on Speed’s show “Inside Nextel Cup” and will continue to work in the broadcast booth for Speed Channel’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series broadcasts.
