We’re hearing that Fox broadcaster Larry McReynolds is looking into becoming a NASCAR team owner again, supposedly with John Dangler, starting with a Busch Series deal in 2007 that would move up to Nextel Cup in 2008, McReynolds was part owner of the ill-fated BANG Racing team in 2004.

Dale Jarrett just might be the next Burger King on the racetrack, or maybe Michael Waltrip is trying to lure Joe Nemechek, the first driver to campaign full time on the Nextel circuit for the chain into the Toyota fold. Waltrip has entered into a five-race agreement with Burger King and driver Bill Elliott for 2006, which might be a precursor to a full deal with either Jarrett or another driver in ‘07.

Sounds like The Whopper could be planning a return to Winst…uh…Nextel Cup.

So, it this a bash by referring to NASCAR as Winston Cup, instead of what it is called now, Nextel Cup?

Why even cover NASCAR when you people at this site obviously have zero repect for NASCAR!

Well, I must apologize! The Winston Cup comment was meant as light-hearted comment because I loved the way it sounded…that was all.

NASCAR should definitely be applauded for being at the very top of the American Motorsports landscape and their marketing prowess is second to none!
