Kyle Petty to deliever food in Wisconsin and Texas
Quote selected text Published October 31st, 2006 in NASCAR News
Kyle Petty is either a good sport or a loyal company man or both.
When the NASCAR Nextel Cup driver comes to Green Bay on Oct. 31, he’ll start his morning by loading a Schwan’s Home Service truck. After that, he’ll help drive the route, delivering the goods.
Petty, who drives the No. 45 Schwan’s car, will be here because customer service managers at the Schwan’s sales and distribution center in Ashwaubenon won a regional sales contest.
After his work day is finished, Petty will meet fans, sign autographs and display his show car from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Simon Bay Park Square mall in Ashwaubenon.
Schwan’s also will have a truckload sale of frozen foods during the event, with a portion of the proceeds going to Holiday House, which helps people with disabilities in Manitowoc County, and Petty’s Victory Junction Gang Camp in North Carolina.
It’ll be good practice for Petty, who’ll do it all over again the next day with a Schwan’s driver in Beaumont, Texas.
