Kyle Busch wins 4th Cup race of season at Dover

Kyle Busch was simply sensational again, dominating the second half of the 400-mile race at Dover International Speedway and racing to his Sprint Cup series-best fourth win of the season.
Busch made it 10 victories total this season, including two in the Craftsman Truck Series and four in the Nationwide Series. He won for the third time in the last five Cup races.
Roush Fenway Racing teammates Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle were second and third in the Best Buy 400. Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon rounded out the top five.
“It was definitely a great race for us there,” Busch said. “We didn’t have the car to beat today.”
“I believe we missed out on two of those (checkered flags) this weekend and that’s a fact. I believe, if we didn’t have our troubles in the truck race we could have won the thing and if we didn’t have our troubles yesterday we could have won the Nationwide race, too.”
“I want to thank all the fans even if they’re not Kyle Busch fans,” he said.

“No good,” said Edwards, who won the race here in September. “Not what we came here to do.
A 10-car pileup less than 17 laps into the race sent numerous contenders to the garage. Six of the top 12 drivers in points were involved after Elliott Sadler spun into the wall and was rammed by Stewart, then Hamlin. Other drivers including Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick went careening into the chaos which also affected Clint Bowyer and Kasey Kahne.
The trouble started when Sadler drifted down the track into the nose of David Gilliland. Stewart, however, quickly assumed blame — with a dig at Sadler — for the chain reaction.
“I take 100% responsibility,” Stewart said. “It’s my fault for being anywhere close to Elliott — If I’m within a half lap of him I expect that to happen”.
Six cars were still in the garage when the race resumed after a 16-minute red-flag delay. Only Sadler and Hamlin failed to get back on the track.
“I didn’t even see what happened to start it,” said Hamlin, who won Saturday’s Nationwide Series event at Dover. “All I knew was I came off Turn 2 and I was in the brakes. The spotter was telling me to slow way down and even stop, but I can’t stop any harder than what these brakes will let me. I had (Bobby Labonte) on my (rear) bumper.

well…if David Gilliland wasnt a complete idiot on the track…i have a feeling we would have seen a hamlin or a smoke win this race….congrats to Kyle…but 18 laps in to the race…there should have been some giving and taking going on…espec with an under experienced driver like David…just plain stupid if u ask me…
David was holding his line it was Sadler who was trying to pass the 77 car (which was no where near him BTW) that came down on Gilliland, and then Denny came plowing in way after the wreck happened and then Riggs came plowing in even later at the wreck happened…. l0l
That wreck was a complete clusterf___. Don’t think Smoke could have done much with Sadler turned right in front of him, but Hamlin did come in there REAL hot. Not totally sure what was going through his mind there! After all that happened, I gave up and went back to tending the BBQ smoker, checking on the race occasionally, but every time I did, Kyle was near the front. Glad Biffle had a good finish! He’s had good stuff lately and has had just slightly better luck than Stewart, which ain’t saying a whole lot!
now i know how u guys feel about the same driver winning every week lol sure is boring
I feel bad for Tony.. I think he just said what he did today because he’s fed up with getting taken out of a race he could win because of something stupid..so he wanted to avoid all the media crap and just say ‘ok, it was my fault. I take the blame,’ when it wasn’t ANYWHERE near his fault. He had nowhere to go when Sadler crashed.
Yes, Sal24, I know is’t boring when the same
driver, wins every week,————but would
sure like to have that feeling one more time.

Actually, it sucks, but as long as it’s not the #48 winning week in and week out, I’m kinda okay with it!
Actually,Kasey and Kyle, have dominated the last few weeks, even Hamlin>I think the Young Guns have it for now! So let’s stay tuned Huh!!!
LOL, Agreed, Jeff!
Yeah I don’t think there was anyway the 20 could have
avoided that wreck. As soon as he braked his car went sideways
and forget about it. Sucks for Junior considering he got stopped
and then everyone else, way more braking time than him, just
rammed into Sadler like 4 times. lol
