Kyle Busch willing to play role of villain

Kyle Busch is NASCAR’s most hated driver. And he loves it.
Viciously booed during prerace introductions, Busch soaked up the venom by encouraging Saturday night’s crowd at Darlington Raceway to keep it coming. And when he heard a member of Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s crew jeer him as he passed by on the parade lap, Busch smugly raised his middle finger in salute.
This kid doesn’t need to be popular, not as long as he’s winning races.
“I don’t care. I’m here to race. I’m here to win,” Busch said. “If I win, it just makes ’em more upset and crying on their way home.”
Busch won his third Sprint Cup race of the season Saturday night, exactly one week after he alienated “Junior Nation” by wrecking Earnhardt as the two jockeyed for the lead three laps from the finish in Richmond, Va.
That led to severe fan backlash against Busch, including a thunderous razzing when he appeared on stage with his mom in a prerace Mother’s Day tribute. He sarcastically wiped a fake tear from his eye, then incited the crowd by cupping his ear and raising his arms as if to ask for more boos.

When Jr.’s fans boo Kyle, they just encourage him to race harder. So they are actually helping him be more determined to win.
I love Kyle, and I love Jr. They are on the track to race and win, not back off to let another team win.

Every sport has someone people root against… The Yankees/Red Sox in Baseball, the Patriots in Football, the Lakers or Spurs in basketball (I don’t watch enough to say for sure who people hate), etc. While not really a sport, ‘Rasslin is the same way. If there was no good/bad struggle, would anyone honestly watch two sweaty guys crawl around on each other in their underwear?
Sports are better when fans have someone to cheer against, and Kyle is not only filling that role, but seems to embrace it. I guess he knows people are going to hate him no matter what, so he might as well just roll with it and play along. Regardless of what you people say I’m liking Kyle more and more every day!
This rivalry will be good for nascar.
There was a song that came out last year by some British girl and the two main lines of the song were
“Love me or hate me, that is the question.
Love me or hate me, it’s still an obsession.”
The Day a driver gets no noise at all from the fans is the day that he should be worried.
He is the coolest guy…he doesn’t care what people think, he just knows that he’s going to drive his ass off every week and come out on top because the booing and hatred fires him up.
I think Kyle’s performance and role will also motivate Jr., Gordon, and even Stewart and Hamlin, to do better. Kyle should do exactly as he is doing right now…. kick butt, take a bow with the checkered flag, and embrace the villain role. It may not be the role he dreamed of having in the sport, but lets face it, it’s a great position for him to find himself in.
So many people have jumped onto the Jr. bandwagon since Earnhardt Sr. died that it would be darn near impossible for another driver to beat him in a popularity contest. If Kyle wanted, he could play 4th or 5th fiddle (with a lot of effort to get to that ranking) in the popularity column behind Jr, Gordon, Stewart, Johnson….. but he’s played 4th fiddle in a team before (HMS). As the villian, or anti-E, he moves to the front of the line.
It’s really like a perfectly written story actually. Jr. taking Kyle’s ride at the top NASCAR team of our time. Kyle going to a team with other drivers of short fuses. Kyle outperforming everyone on the track. The tangle between Kyle and Jr. starting a rivalry. Most excellent!
Now, if we can just keep the idiots who throw stuff onto the track out of the grandstands we’ll be doing fine. I don’t care who you pull for or who you boo. That’s what it’s all about. But don’t attempt to harm someone and endanger my kids and family in the process. Those Jr Nation fans or Kyle Haters do not deserve to attend the races.

This Kid is an Idiot from the start, he may be saying that but deep inside he wants to be liked just everyone else.
Villian, far from the fact. A Villian is playing a part in a play or part or act. Kyle is not acting, he is a true to life Brainless Idiot who will kill himself or another driver one day.
He can drive, but anyone can do what he does, while wrecking the field and gaining no respect from anyone.
Driving, winning and keeping the respect of the field and fans is and entire different career, none of which Kyle know anything about.
He shows his true colors. He is a spoiled brat that needed to be spanked as a child. Now he is an out of control idiot. .

Anyhow — get over it. Kyle is the most exciting
driver in NASCAR right now, and he is beating

Name one driver who’s license has been yanked for aggressive driving!
Nascar needs Shrub right now to improve its ratings! Otherwise he would have been pulled into the trailer long ago. If it had not been for the combination of the drive ability of this new car and Biffles talent , shrub would have put another top ten driver into the wall. Don’t think that shrubs style has gone unnoticed by other drivers. They also understand ratings and how that helps them. Shrub is exciting to watch, he feels like he has something to prove , and he has great cars. All good things come to an end and JGR will loose the edge they have now and times will get tough just like they always do, shrub will piss off someone who really gets mad and we will see how NASCAR and JGR handles shrubs actions then.
Hey, it’s not his fault (like Friday night’s spin, blaming it on the other 88…). I quit watching, just can’t stomache his bs, and you jerks encouraging him are just as guilty. When NA$CAR truly returns to it’s roots, I may start watching again, but until that time, hell no I’m not contributing to jerks like kb.

him during his victory speech. He’s very lucky, he can’t handle a car, and he’s

I like Kyle he reminds me of Earnhart Sr. If you don’t like my driving get out of my way or i will move you out.Thats what makes the races exiciting to watch is guys like him.Go Kyle Keep Up The Good Work!!!!!!
If nothing else he’s good for the sport and he does keep things interesting. I like Kyle and I do think he’s a good driver. Maybe Nascar needs a Villian to get the fans interested and to keep watching and attending the races. I think the Busch boys are both great at it. They don’t care and I think they both kind of like it! lol When the fans boo them they just say bring it on!
im a big jr fan but i love watchin kyle drive.yea i was upset that night he spun jr too but it was just racin !!!!! how many times did E.SR spin people for the lead and we cheered him on!!!!!!!!!!
I am JR Fan and I like Kyle as well! He can drive and he does it in an exciting fashion!
